I feel sorry for those people who aren't allowed to say no to this shot - like those prisoners. And there are hospitals that are requiring workers to get this shot or be fired. And of course, if all these people get nerve damage, they aren't allowed any recourse - from the way I understand it, the Swine Flu vaccine is protected from legal recourse from health damage.

I seem to live in a bubble of like-minded people and am too often surprised when I hear of people believing the lies and being afraid of the illness. From the Thompson Manifesto (yes, there is one :):
"Not all of life can be measured or completely understood and in trying to do this, modern medicine has come to see the body as fragmented. The medicine that is practiced does not treat the 'whole' body. So here we are faced with two belief systems. We can choose man's path, which includes treating the symptoms and ignoring the rhythms of the natural world or we can believe that God has created us to live in harmony with nature. We feel like we are taking chances in relying of man's chemicals and fragmented view. Our "faith stands not in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." (1 Cor.2:5)"

You know the funny thing to me is that I know only 2 people in the whole world who have contracted H1N1 (if it really was) and they are SOLD on vaccinations and get their flu shots every year! Weird, huh?

Thanks for the common sense response to this so-called epidemic. Nice to hear some well reasoned comments on the issue. The media (and some drug company) is really having a field day with H1N1. Thanks again!
